New Braunfels, TX is conveniently located to the major population centers of Texas. It is midway between San Antonio and Austin, approximately 40 miles from both international Airports. It is 180 road miles from Houston and about 250 from Dallas. It is easily accessed from Interstate 35 which connects Austin and San Antonio. Exit 187 of I35 on the South side of New Braunfels, to Seguin Ave leads directly to the Civic Center, the Show Venue.

For Air Travel, it is only about an hour by car from both San Antonio and Austin International Air Ports. Transportation is available from the San Antonio Airport for $50.

Lodging

New Braunfels is a popular Tourist Resort Area, so there are many Hotel and Motel Properties in the area. The period of the show, which coincides with the “Wurstfest” is the busiest time of the year for tourist lodging. Thus rates are relatively high and finding lodging without a reservation may be difficult. The show has booked a limited number of rooms at the following property, which if booked in advance will receive a reduced price by stating you are attending the show. Ramada Inn

About 3 miles from the Civic center close to I35 Exit 189. A limited number of rooms will be available, for a rate of $79.95 plus tax. The cut off date is 10/20/10. This is the best deal I can find.
